America has always been rife with political issues, providing an a la carte menu for campaigning politicians building their platforms. These issues morph and adapt to our changing world while technology creates new channels to raise awareness and garner support around them. We want to understand how political issues come to life in the world today as well as the role that social and news media outlets have on the framing of these issues.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The final deliverable will be a 40-60 page Keynote deck complete with example visuals mapping the following three political issues: immigration, healthcare and women’s rights. Thinking about these issues as brands, how do they manifest in the world, what are their key messages, how have they evolved over time and what are the major channels that deliver these messages? Also, the deck should include five takeaways that identify the key drivers that impact the way political issues are expressed.
