W&W is a team of brand strategists, project managers and do’ers that have uncovered insights, given brands a purpose, driven product innovation, designed experiences and charted roadmaps for clients ranging from startups to global mega-brands. We are looking for a full-time Head of Project Management to join our Wolf Pack. This person will work as the complement to Heidi in her Head of Strategy role and define what Project Management means at W&W. You’ll create our philosophy, stack our team, teach, get in on new business and help build this company.

Your job:

The ideal person will come in and own Project Management at W&W. She or he will define our philosophy in line with the values of the W&W. Once defined, this person will structure the team accordingly.

Project Management is our secret sauce and it’s important that this person makes sure that the Project Management team is rocking at their jobs. Therefore, this person will oversee all PM’s, making sure they’re leading tight processes, empathetic client relationships, beautiful production and deft administration. 

You’ll probably have a project of your own to run. But don’t worry - we’re serious about keeping people to work weeks of less than 50 hours (ideally 40), so you’re not going to have two jobs. 

Education and training is an important part of our ethos, and we expect this person to come in and teach, nurture and grow a group of kick-ass Project Managers. 

We all pitch at W&W. So whereas the new business pipeline will not be your in you JD (no, no cold calling), we will want this person to get in there and help us land projects, from designing processes and teams to slaying new business meetings.

We expect that after some months learning the W&W way, you will be providing leadership to ensure project resources have the correct toolsets and processes in place and that all PMs are trained and equipped to deliver successful and premium work.

At W&W, we use a framework that layouts the work traits, skills and management of every level of strategist, from intern to director. We would expect that you are operating at the Head of Project Manager level as laid out below:

  • Great management and teaching chops
  • Ability to guide PM's in the day-to-day
  • Process design: help design processes and teams, drive estimates and SOW's
  • Project fluent: be great at client relationships, managing teams, deadlines, reconciliations, payment of freelancers
  • PM at least one W&W project as schedule permits

Be a strong voice as we move into the future
