"Just trying to maintain the illusion that I’m cool enough for this place."
As a news and history junkie, Jonathan loves to dig into the intersections of political, social and economic trends to craft stories that resonate and inspire.
Prior to joining the pack, Jonathan honed his qualitative research and communications skills as a social policy researcher, freelance journalist and criminal defense investigator. From trailer parks in Missouri to prison cells on California’s death row, Jonathan has used his interviewing prowess to uncover deeply meaningful stories all over the country. His journalism has appeared in Buzzfeed, Salon and The Atlantic.
Outside of the den, you can find Jonathan on his bike in search of the city’s greatest soup dumpling, browsing a bookstore for his next creative nonfiction read or on the basketball court perfecting his mid-range jump shot.
