A child of immigrants with a nomadic spirit, Monica is a strategist enthusiastic about the diverse nature of people and culture. From mining data to immersing herself IRL, Monica strives to identify the needs of people first, then to help brands be positive catalysts.
Monica evolved from a Digital Strategist to Brand Strategist over her long tenure at MRY, giving her a knack for identifying insights among consumers in an ever-evolving world, and applying them to real business problems. (This also means she knows way too much about the wacky subcultures of the internet.) Her experience ranges across a diverse set of brands including Visa, Hulu, Adobe, Rimmel and Alcon.
Outside of strategy, you'll catch Monica covering rap songs on the ukulele, spitting good-but-bad puns, throwing living room concerts, and traveling to places with lots of trees.
